From the earliest days as the Womans Protestant Union this Society has regularly produced a magazine ro encourage and upbuild its supporters in their faith and witness. Our archives date back to 1899 when the magazine was a veritable mine of information concerning the spiritual state of late Victorian society, with many warnings to the protestant woman of the day to guard against the inroads of evil into the daily christian life of the nation. Much information was provided on the progress and activity of the work accross the nation and overseas.

Today our magazine in its current format attempts to meet the needs of its supporters in the context of their personal lives and the corporate lives of their churches. The needs of our supporters and readers today are very different to the days of the inception of the work, when the message of the Bible and the demands of the Christian life were readily understood and accepted. Today's Christian is battling against anti Biblical legislation, the downgrading of his faith to just one among many faith, and the onslaught of evil throught the media into every aspect of our daily lives. Our Inheritance aims to provide mutual comfort and support to the end that our Saviour's Name may be uplifted in this dark and sinful world through the work and witness of the people of God.
